Buy Zune HD for a great touchscreen portable media player
Zune reviews are positive that the Zune HD has better hardware then the iPod Touch media player which has a great headstart in the market some consider insurmountable but bigger giants have been defeated. The iPod has has a powerful prescience in the electronics industry and even just the aftermarkets and accessories industry that has built around the line of media players is a powerful force in the market. When the iPod Touch was released it had a 1000 different accessories released within minutes it seemed and this is where the Zune HD will face the uphill battle.
As a less popular device the new portable music video player will have to offer a lot and hopes are high Microsoft will offer a Zune SDK soon and development on Zune apps will take off but the number of accessories and apps may be lacking in early development. The Tegra processor and fast GUI seem to make up for a lack of applications at this point. The available web browser and wireless sync make Zune a better mobile device than previous versions and their history of offering software updates and firmware revisions which bring new features leave you with the feeling your player will get better over time unlike so many others on the market.
