Download free ringtones for your phone
With all the talk about a Zune phone this week it’s easy to forget so many of us already have some form of cellular or mobile phone. The mobile phone has come a long way since the days of the Motorola brick but the technology is not equal in way. Some phones are more capable and packed with more features than others and the price range for cellphones is anywhere from free to $1,000 or more for the top end phones.
The one thing most new phones do today is allow you to customize your ringtone using your favorite song but not all phones use the same ringtones. You can download real music ringtones from about a zillion different websites and blogs but you may not be able to download the correct ringtones for your phone. As an example free Sprint ringtones may not be compatible with free Verizon ringtones.
If you have an iPhone you may be looking for free at&t ringtones but those won’t be the same as free t-mobile ringtones because of the differt phone models available as well as the different carrier services.
Some phones will play a wide variety of ringtone file formats and others are stuck with hardware limitations. A midi ringtone is not the same as an mp3 ringtone although both can be found as free ringtones online. Be sure when you download free ringtones online you are selecting the correct file format for your cellphone so you can insure the best performance of your mobile device. Adding ringtones to your mobile phone is a great way to let the world hear who you are by having your favorire song as your phone ring.
