Have you heard the latest news? Seems the new rage is to eat protein chips to improve your health and stick to a diet plan. The protein chips are a replacement meal for more weight conscious eaters who are looking for a quality protein source without the added fats, sugars and other bad things present in so many processed food products that we consume.
The average American eats plenty enough protein in our traditionally meat heavy diets but other meat free diet plans will require a protein supplement to cover what can be lacking in an all plant diet. I know when I went vegan for about 3 years I had a hard time finding quality sources of protein and especially on the go so protein chips would have been a perfect choice. This would have been in the late 90′s when health foods were just getting started in many parts of America and there were not as many choices available as there are today.
Now we have a variety of choices for just about every type of food and nutritional supplement made and it has become more difficult to sort through the many available options and make a sound decision on what we need.
