HTC Trophy Verizon’s first Windows 7 phone is solid: it has HTC’s usual elegant styling and good build quality, world GSM roaming capabilities and Redmond’s new phone OS that we really like. The Trophy has a 3.8″, 800 x 480 capacitive touch screen, a 1GHz CPU, 16 gigs of storage and a 5 megapixel camera. It has 3G on Verizon along with WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo and a GPS. Like all Windows Phone 7 smartphone, it has XBOX gaming and Zune music and video services.

Online Poker and the Complete Social Gaming Experience

Are you a online game player like me? I spend hours per day playing all forms of online gaming, from simeple Facebook games like farmville and Mafia Wars to more interactive games such as WoW and even some online poker games like FaceupGaming.com on occasion. I really enjoy the social aspects of some game platforms while others leave somethig to be desired.

For example I think the gaming on Facebook is dead. Who wants to solo play games on a social network and who likes the social games that they offer on FB? I’m not knocking the worlds largest social network but they are lacking when it comes to top hits on social games or the overall social gaming experience.

FaceupGaming.com has a very cool interactive and social gaming platform with lots of tips, advice and tutorials on how to play online poker games such as Texas Hold’em Poker, Blackjack and other free online poker games. Their online gaming experience is robust and well defined unlike some other gaming communities. Dedicated game players will find this community to offer something for everyone from the newbie player with no experience to the pro level player looking for some new strategy and practice play. “Spotify Like” Zune Streaming music coming to Xbox

Looks like Zune will live on in many other forms as the venerable music service and former gadget brand will be morpjhed into a “Spotify like” streaming music service on Xbox consoles. The news is so fresh there are few details but the service is said to be currently in development under the code name “Woodstock,” according to a report Wednesday by the tech blog The Verge.

Who hear wishes they would have done a better job with Zune marketing in the beginning so they would not be foced to rename this service for Xbox?

Microsoft is developing a streaming music service for its Xbox Live network and other platforms, and it may be introduced at the E3 consumer electronics expo in June, a published report said.

HTC Arrive Sprint’s first Windows Phone 7 smartphone is one of our favorites. The hardware design and quality are typical top-notch HTC and the unique hinge is robust. The Arrive runs the updated version of Windows Phone 7 that adds copy and paste along with a few other improvements, and it has 3G EV-DO. Rev. A. Specs are typical for the platform with a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU, 16 gigs of storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, a GPS and a 5 megapixel camera that can shoot 720p video. The Arrive has a 3.6″ display and a very good QWERTY keyboard.

For those of us who enjoy a good game of golf there is little more exciting than new golf clubs and especially so for new golf drivers which are about as exciting and fun to play with as any other. The sale and purchase of gold clubs is generally resereved for pro shops and other golf retail stores but the market has shifted towards more onliner shopping and discount buys for golf equipment.

‘Champagne’, one of the world’s most extravagant, exquisite, and expensive delicate wines, is also one of the world’s most storied. This story starts some 300 years ago, in the late 1600′s, with a monk by the name of Dom Perignon, in a small section of France, called ‘Champagne’ (hard to wonder where the name originated…). What many may be unaware of however, is that the bubbles in champagne, were actually unintended, which Perignon spent a great deal of his time trying to prevent.

However, after wine drinkers began to develop a taste for the ‘bubbly’ wine from Champagne, the rest became history. Wars were fought, and to the winners went the spoils, champagne . One of Winston Churchill’s most famous quotes was in regard to Champagne.

Remember gentleman, it’s not just France we are fighting for, it’s Champagne!

The little bubbly wine won over not only the tastes of wine purists, and generals, but royalty also; many of whom drank it regularly.

Another quick fact: Champagne is only true champagne if it was produced in the ‘Champagne’ region of France, made with specific kinds of grapes, and distilled in a certain manner.
