Shows to Record on My DVR This Week
I use my DVR to record TV shows and movies on a weekly basis. My DVR is compatible with my satellite TV, so everything is easy and convenient to scroll through the direct tv channel guide and select my shows.
This week I’m recording Friday Night Lights on my DVR. It’s one of my favorite shows of all time. I love the drama and I think it’s one of the most realistic shows on TV. This week’s episode is a repeat of the one I saw on the 101 Network in January, but I’ll still record it and re-watch it. I believe it’s the one where Matt buries his father. If Zach Gilford doesn’t get an Emmy nod for this show, then the committee members must be sleeping on the job. Matt Saracen is such a tortured character, and Gilford is convincing and vulnerable in the role.
Army Wives is not as good or as convincing as Friday Night Lights, but I like to escape for a while and see what’s happening on Fort Marshall. Army Wives will be airing a new episode this week, and I’ll watch it on Sunday night. Hopefully they will start to wrap up the storyline regarding Pamela’s marital troubles. Roxy and Trevor are annoying me, as usual. Roland and Denise are my two favorite characters. I hope something exciting happens with one of them.
