I’ll admit things have been a bit slow around here recently as I’ve been busy with a load of other things to do. I wanted to drop a little reminder that we are still running the Free Zune Player Giveaway and the next Zune winner is going to be announced on April 01. I know what a day to announce the winner but it’s true someone will Win a Zune on April Fools Day. Should be kinda cool actually.
As I mentioned before it takes a bit more than signing up to win a Zune. I’m looking for someone special that loves Zune and ZuneMAX.com so much they spend all their time helping out in the forums with great posts, pics for the Zune wallpaper gallery and other stuff for Zune friends to enjoy.

We have a winner in the Boxwave Zune case giveaway for this month. It took a few days to notify the winner so I’m a bit delayed but our forum member Noggatchi is the winner of this months Boxwave Flexiskin case. For those that missed it I reviewed the Boxwave FlexiSkin case last month and I’m still sporting it on my Zune. It’s a cool case and helps keep my Zune looking new and scrathc free like I like it.
If you need a case I suggest you jump over to the forums and enter to win by posting something about you and your Zune experience.

What’s better than a free Zune giveaway? How about a job with the Zune team? That’s right Microsoft is hiring and they have up to 34 positions available on the Zune team. Up for grabs are jobs like Program Management and Software Tester
I’m looking through the job list for somehting like a Zune blogger needed but no luck yet. I do think I can handle software testing but they won’t want to pay me what I’m worth
The need to hire a marketing firm that can make some decent ads and maybe get a few Zune players sold. Testing the software is useless if no one buys the darn device.

It’s been just about 3 weeks since I got my first Zune case. I’m kinda slow to things. The BoxWave Flexiskin is a very nice and well designed silicone skin for a rough Zune users like myself. I’ve put the case through some serious real world testing and I’m pretty happy with it over. I’m not very interested in the belt loop attachment which then gets in the way if you’re not using it but it’s a livable trade off for the convenience of having it should the need arise. The basic FlexiSkin runs $19.99 and is a solid deal at the price. You can get the belt clip for an extra buck and a kickstand for standing your Zune player up for an extra $3. My favorite part of the FlexiSkin is the screen protector mine that it came with. It actually works and protects my Zune screen. My greatest fear is scratching that luscious screen MAX has and I’m probably overly cautious of damaging it. Having the silicone case and screen protector on my Zune made me loosen up with it a bit and do things like just jam it in my pockets or backpack with little regard for what it banged or bumped against. The screen protector is raised just above the screen so as to allow dust to settle between without scratching up the screen like many other protectors do and the case design keeps the screen covered at all times.
MAX is a black Zune and my case is white which gives it a dull gray look that’s really not so bad. The Boxwave Flexiskins for Zune are an excellent deal at the price and if you can win one for free in our Boxwave Zune case giveaway you’ll love it that much more. In order to enter to win a free Zune case from Boxwave just drop by the Zune forums and leave a short blurb on you and your Zune and bingo you’re entered.
